Oh, I don't know...... I'm not so bad :1orglaugh

Dean*

Nas7782 01-10-2004 11:43 PM

Who knows? Dean's got almost a million internet geeks backing him up, and our president got almost a gazillion corporate dollars.

money versus geeks.

bring out the popcorns.

SexxxyChat-T 01-10-2004 11:56 PM

Bush = Corporations
Dean = People

Corp. vs People

I'm gonna have to go with the people on this one, more votes

Brujah 01-11-2004 12:03 AM

Sorry but Dean just has no chance. Dems are going to have to sit it out for another term .. or two.

thehornydevil 01-11-2004 02:11 AM

That's funny.. last I saw Bush and Dean had approval ratings within 8% of eachother with Bush barely on top...

So true - we call ourselvs a free country but what a bunch of suckers we are - 2 people to choose from?? sounds more like a dictatorship - 50%

how sad it is that people alighn themsels with a political party then support it regardless of what new information may come forward. apparently changing your mind is a bad thing - if your an idoit.

the problem is is that 90% of people are cows and will repeat the crap you hear in this thread....Dean has no chance...bullshit, keep saying it and it's true....say the opposite 3 times loudly to MANY people and the opposite is true...

we DO and materialize the shit we project....

arial 01-11-2004 02:33 AM

I'm voting for Al Sharpton :thumbsup

Mishi 01-11-2004 02:36 AM

For those who oppose Dean on anything other than political grounds, I'm curious, why?

Serious question, no disrespect.

Digipimp 01-11-2004 02:38 AM

Like I said we're fucked either way because both Bush and Dean are dumbasses and for different reasons. No one worthwhile has a chance at getting elected anyway so fuck all of them.

Because he's a dumbass. He doesn't know shit about national security or foreign affairs and neither does Bush. He doesn't know shit about much of anything, he's basing his opinions on his internet buddies and what they tell him, they represent a very very small fraction of the real world. Bush sucks every bit as much, for different reasons I would hate to see either of them as president let alone in charge of anything more than a conveinience store.

I hear ya.

Al Sharton is starting to look fucking good!
I never thought I would say that; but you know what?
I lived in New York during Sharptons really active period and I couldn't stand him. But as time has gone by his shit has come true. He said those guys in the "central park jogger case" were not the attackers and just a few months ago DNA proved him right. Those kids got 15 years in Jail and served their time before the truth came out.
He might be loud and ugly but he has proved that he aint dumb!
All of his shit that I thought was shit came around to be right on the money. He looked like a fool back in 1986; but in the long run the fools were the ones that didn't listen to him.
I still don't like him; but the MoFo has proven to be smart as hell.

Hell yeah Al Sharpton is good, I may not and don't agree with him on everything but at least the guy is upfront and honest about it and isn't making his opinions up based on a poll and that's all you can ask for these days. You'll never always agree with someone, but if they're up front and honest and not changing their shit based on the latest poll or bullshit then I can totally live with and respect that.

But it doesn't even matter in a way because I don't think he will get passed the democratic convention so no one will actually be able to vote for him anyway.

It's not like I would stand up and say "Al Sharpton for prez" but when I see Dean just making an ass of himself I have to look else where.

I can say this though, if Al was the prez I think our enemies would back off a bit because I don't think they would fear him the way they fear Bush.

Other than that; homeboy is funny as shit and maybe we need to laugh a little and quit taking ourselves so seriously like we have to dominate the world in every aspect. We know we can kick ass and we don't have to keep proving it by dropping bombs every where.

Also, he rather liberal and will end the A-s-h-hahahahaha era.
That Mofo pissed me off when he raided the bong making company and busted Cheech (cheech and chong) for selling a bong on the internet. Fuck that, a bong aint drugs. Might as well arrest Reynolds Wrap...I make aluminum foil pipes. hehehehe!

In total agreement! When did we give up on believing that even one person can make a difference?

So logically, if both are crap..then it won't hurt this country one bit if we make a change and elect Dean then.

I'll go for that! :thumbsup

Go with Clark I say, at least this time there won't be a coward in the office.

Well, that narrows it down, and shows a fine-tuned metality when it comes to voting.

I'd posit that MOST politicians don't know shit about national security, etc. I personally would MUCH rather vote for someone who listens to both his constituents and his advisors, and proceeds to make what he deems the best decision based on all available input. In other words, a leader.

Actually that's not a bad idea...instead of a vote, let's put our primary candidates in charge of competing convenience stores for 6 months...they'll have to manage customer service, loss control, etc. And possibly even deal with the occasional robbery. After six months whoever is most successful gets to be the Prezzy.

I'm not digging at you, Digipimp, so please don't take anything personally. Or do, if you wanna keep sparring. :winkwink:

Digipimp 01-11-2004 03:53 AM

Calling them dumbasses sums it up nicely rather than go over every stupid thing they do. You can start just by labeling yourself Republican or Democrat, that already shows predisposed tendency to be a dumbass. So to go back to what I said with either of them you're fucked and in different ways.

George Bush will use his second term to cause more war, not find Osama, crackdown on adult among many other things of which I don't like and will be bad for me and the rest of us.

Dean will raise taxes for the rich which I don't agree with, I favor flat tax and government responsibilty for making sure our tax dollars actually are put to good use (that will never happen). He will also oppose military tactics that other people of the world might not like but are a neccessary evil to protect our country.

So you get labeled an outlaw by one or you lose your country to a global government by the other. I don't like either and this is the just the begining of the problems with these two. They're both white rich boys who don't really give a shit about much other than taking care of their buddies hence the party affiliations.

Mishi 01-11-2004 04:08 AM

Dang. I've got nothing.

Too late, too tired, and agree with too much of what you've said.

Have a good night and maybe we can play again. :)
