It takes balls to write rubber checks out, with all those rebills that greedy fuckhead pocketed, im suprised real suprised.

He told me that:

(a) He was surprised the check bounced because that was the payroll account.

and

(b) Some money was transferred out of the account to pay for Vegas and maybe that was what happened.

I hope his employees don't get any returned checks courtesy of their trip to Vegas. :(

I really debated upon whether to post anything or not, but I decided that I couldn't keep quiet about it forever, especially since it things like this were happening to other people. I figured it wasn't likely that I was going to be paid, anyway. Now I'm sure it's even less likely that I am going to be paid, but at least I'm living proof of the bounced checks. :(

This whole thing is really just a shame.

One of the better parties at the show this year was amateur bash...I was invited because I had done some work for Keev at TNVCash.com who is a stand up guy.

Anyway I was able to meet Jeff at the party and he seemed like a nice guy. All the perfection girls including teen dana seemed to be having a good time...it's just sad that it all now seems to be falling apart.

In Texas most counties have a division in the district attornies office that handles nothing but bad checks...and yes jail time is included...usually they call it theft of services or simple theft if it involves products.

They normally set bail at the amount owed to the person that filed charges. .. at least in my state..

I think the laws are typically written so that if it's just a matter of an honest accident, you pay a fine, but if you do it with intent, it's a crime. Jeff's pattern of check-bouncing, particularly with the person whose checks bounced three months in a row before he moved and left no forwarding information, would help establish intent.

Does anyone have any guesses as to what he does with his money? Drug addict? Gambling addict? Lots of kids? Fast cars? Maybe he's just bad at business, and can't make ends meet, but I don't see how you can go that far wrong with a partnership split, even if you're not ripping off the rebills...the profit margin is big enough that with even modest signups you should make a decent living.

Anyway, now that a check of his is posted online, if anyone wants to check out a porn site's members area, they could use an online check with his account info. :Graucho 'Course you'd be committing several federal crimes, and I'd discourage that, but just the possibility should make him sweat.

Exactly. But the people holding bad checks need to get them to the DA. I know if I was dealing with that asshat I would rather the DA hold his check than him pay me what I was owed.
