I fucking hate edited video. If you scroll down just past the video, you will see the transcript of that video. The first sentence says

Why edit out the "next to his gun" part on the video??? Because they are trying to inflame your emotions!! He wasn't some poor innocent Iraqi, he was a gun toting murdering fucker who got what he deserved!!

It has been posted before...it is an edited video...so basically does not have merit. In addition Army and Marine combatants in small units do not normally take POW's depending upon the mission...and even large units may not take POW's unless ordered to do so...once again depending upon the mission...and or convenience/inconvenience of doing so. Real life combat is not a movie...kiddies.

That shit cracks me up. People talk about the medias bias and manipulation of the facts, then when confronted with a painfully blatant example of it, they totally ignore the obvious.

With all due respect, you should pay more attention. I for one, think it is very *sad* when anyone has to die. But, those soldiers did exactly what they should have done. If you read the transcript just below the video, you will notice they edited the most important parts of the video. What they were counting on is people just like you watching the video, but not really paying attention. War is not a pleasant thing, but it is sometimes a necessary one.
