Do you keep a webmaster/program blacklist?

I personally have a list of people and programs I will never, ever do business with. Mainly people that have been exposed as cheaters, thieves, scammers, etc.

What amazes me is how many of them just manage to get accepted again in the webmaster community after a relatively short time. It almost seems like most webmasters forget that someone is a thief after a month or two.

So, just out of curiosity, do you keep an actual blacklist or do you just rely on your memory?

so far just memory.

but sometimes i do searches on people here if i'm unfamiliar with them or vaguely remember things i'd once heard.

Yes I keep a list.

Yesterday there was a post about Ron Tan and how he is the best nicest classy in the business, the fact is he ripped me and tons of others off (like someone else pointed out) about 5 years ago under a different company name.

The feds charged him with fraud as I pointed links to the FTC website.

But no I get yelled at that I dont know him blah blah blah.

There is a very sad fact and that is once a scammer always a scammer, they might go easy and nice and legit for a while but somethin happens and bammm everyone gets fucked.

I think you run a good ship - But you need a better captain who can navigate the rougher seas..

Once arcacia put their foot in the door - It only took a little research to find out that their claims were only good if hosted in America - If, in fact, their claims were any good at all -

If you want to abide by the kind of incredible laws that allow O J free for murder, and bought patients rule havoc - Then your future is dim - As other conglomerates will quickly follow suit and more obscure patients will cost you dearly!

Signing up to them and saying fight against them is one thing - Not signing up to them and saying fight them, is something else -

What you, hustler or any other company does has no relevance to me - I moved everything out of the usa. -

But I am certain it will have an effect on your partners.

Like I said - I really have nothing to do with your programme - Since 1996, I have worked soley on my own sites and others do not interest me in the slightest - But I do wish you luck

Although it is a move that deserves a definite "boo!", it doesn't make you a scammer or a thief. And it's not like you sold a webmaster list to Acacia. :2 cents:
