Anyone else sick after Vegas? This col/flu is really kicking my ass. Got to get back to bed.

BTW, It was great seeing everyone as always.

ya... i got stuffy nose and now chest cough... someone told me it was the "convention flu" from having all your adrenaline pumped up at the show, not eating right, not sleeping right...then when you come home, your body slows down and can't fight the germs when you are weak.

lots of vitamin C, hot liquids, and rest for me

I used a bottle of Purell this year and didn't get sick. To be honest, I've never gotten sick after a show, but last year I had laryngitis and no one could hear me...not always a bad thing. :winkwink:

I hugged lots of people and I didn't get sick. I think it has a lot to do with plane rides too. Think of the air that you share for hours, ewww. My throat hurt a little from all the smoke, got a nose bleed on the last morning from the dry air, and hacked up a lung for 5 minutes once I got home to get rid of all the smoke, other than that I'm fine.

Just looking at all the pics of hotel rooms / limos / planes, look how close everyone is togeather. there's bound to be a few germbags in the mix.

I felt great afterwards. The weather actually really helped my sinuses.

As I was leaving Vegas I got really sick. My throat was killing me and I was super cold. I definetly picked up something in Vegas. Glad I wasn't sick during the convention though.

You know, the funny thing is that I've NEVER put anything in my nose and I never will.....but I ALWAYS have people thinking I'm some speed/coke fiend cause I'm so hyper and energentic all the time... Go figure, lol

I was sick as hell before the convention, got better like a day before.. Flew out, and the day after had some form of feverish thing and super sore throat.

So fucking sick of being er... Sick.

I blame Sleazydream! But all is forgiven, since his metal biz card saved my ass. I rolled over on my glasses when I feel asleep on the bed.. and only his card had a tiny enough point to screw the little screw back into the frame. :)

I am still in the venetian and have been sick for the past 4 days. I started to feel the sickness growing very fast right after a quick dinner at the venetian cafe. First time in 11 years i am sick, I couldn't sleep or eat in 3 days.
Yesterday I called a doctor and he said it's an infection that might come from food.
Gotta love american food :helpme
