Where did you get the most business done?
Personally I found the best business was done at some of the parties, and hospitality suites.
Just kicking back and bullshitting with people never hurts. The floor was hard to get a lot done, I made LOTS of contacts, but there are so many people coming by it was hard to get everyone the attention they needed. Circle bar was a great social lounge. Vbar was the best party just for chilling with a drink. Where did you make most of your coinage? |

Muahaha. That WAS indeed an awesome gig. Meeting the chicks we submit for and beat off to daily was a treat.
Kelly looks MUCH better in person, too. And her BF was a real nice guy as well. |

I nailed another big one, but not in Las Vegas. :1orglaugh

I always seem to miss this part. Ive been to several shows now, exchanged some cards and stuff, met a lot of new people but business...no. Usually if i need to do business i icq that person and fix it in 5 mins..dont need to travel to Vegas for that.
A lot of people talk about all the business they do in Vegas....guess its behind closed doors cuz the only thing i see is people with beers in their hands checking out girls. 1 good spam message on gfy makes me more money than vegas ever made me. Maybe im missing something tho. |
The round bar, which I found out was called the Oculus Lounge, was my place to be this year. Going around in circles really does pay off! :)

Or is giving out cards considered business?

gameworks and private events

The food at gameworks was good. I had a lot of fun playing that StarWars classic arcade. :)

I did most of my business from like 1 pm - 4 or 5 pm in a quiet surrounding...anything after that and no one's going to recall what you discussed ;) |

Yeah dude. I measure my success on handing out business cards.
Example, I pimped out 300 cards over the week. If I get one affiliate signup, my ratio is 1:300. :1orglaugh |

Haha last year one webmaster program, forgot which one, hired like tons if kids to promote their shit, they were everywhere with their business cards, like 4 different employees gave me the same card and they were all instructed to mention that they have "free content to promote their sites" and they kept repeating it...i heard that sentence like 20 times and didnt know what to say to it...i was like uh yeah...cool..free content.. |

I know exactly what you mean about the whole deal though! |

I was there to promote myself and my services...not content....not a site...me :) These people are sponsors and needed my services...I even had one guy come up to me looking for me specifically because another client told him to find me. I did business...business is discussing and making deals. Not everything will pan out I'm an adult with many years under my belt in the marketplace and I know how things work, but those things that will pan out will just be in addition to what I already have going on . But I do have deals that are already closed, I also was able to meet clients I already do business with face to face thus keeping that line open so it's all good. More importantly I was able to make new friends and see old ones :) |
Internext isn't the place I get the most business done. When I got to visit my friends in Holland..... Thats when I get my best business done. They own some of the biggest MGP's so its pretty easy to do good biz with them :)
