I need a text/banner rotation script that...
 

So I have a bunch of sites planted all over the place. I want to paste a small script into each site that will basically open a file from a given domain and parse the contents of that file onto this said site. I don't think SSI would work right because the sites are spread out among several servers. Java Script should do the trick if I remember right.

Anyone know of such a script?

Close, but not quite. I need something that can handle text ads as well. There are several PHP image/banner rotation scripts available, but I need something a bit different. I haven't fucked with PHP in years, but unless it's drastically different, straight up PHP won't be able to pull this off. I really think Java Script is what's needed.

And yes, it was great meeting you too! Moose and the guys skipped town long before me, but they enjoyed seeing you again and I'll be sure to pass on the word!
