What's the cheapest way to do voice over?
 

I wanna voice over a French speaking announcer but still keep all the background sound (i.e. music, people clapping and screaming). How can I do that cheaply?

Any editing program should allow you to add a second audio track. I use Vegas 4.0, and I do it all the time.

It's expensive, but any halfway decent editing program should be able to do it... Try Pinnacle Studio, or Screenblast Movie Studio.

$600 doesn't seems to be expensive considering someone offered to do the job for me for about $2,000.
