Work at home? Do you bother to get dressed?

What do you wear, do you feel getting up and getting fully dressed helps you be more productive or do you sit around in some pajamas? I personally think I just throw on some shorts and a t-shirt most of the time. Ladies feel free to post a pic of yourself in your home working attire (you know I had to throw that in for the fellas).

I work from home, but desperately wanted to get an office outside the confines of home, until my gf started in school. Now I get up in the morning, get dressed, we have breakfast together and then I work all day (and night sometimes hehe). But, when she didn't go to school or her job, we didn't get up until late and the day just felt like wasted.

So, when her school stops, I will definitely get an office somewhere!

If Im already motivated to do stuff and have things on my agenda it doesnt matter much what I wear, but otherwise I dont mind getting dressed in jeans and a shirt to sorta get the ball rolling.

When I had my office on the top floor of the house, I almost
never dressed and I found that I wasn't getting enough done.

I moved my office down to the basement (where the server rack
and studio are) and now I get alot more done in a day.

I can't see the point in dragging my ass out to a rented office
until I have more than 2 onsite employees.

I wake up at 5.30am est each morning with the Mrs.

Get showered, have coffee and breakfast and on my boxes here in the office located in my house normally by 7am or so.

Always have to get dressed since there are always some errands I have to do mid day or take the dog out for a walk.

Colder months - Jeans, tshirt, sweatshirt, nice slippers for inside the house.

Warmer months - cargo shorts, tshirt, sandals

If I have meet a corporate client, then its a suit and wingtips. That happens about 3x a month.

Weekends - sweats all the way

I'm all about the sweats. I drive the kids to school in the morning, pick up a huge coffee, then get down to business. I'm more productive when I'm comfy (of course the caffeine doesn't hurt either).

I drive my wife to work at 7:30am 5 days a week - because she can't drive standard (for those of you in the UK, that's a car with a regular gear stick) and I got sick of driving an automatic POS. So I generally get home and settled in to work from anywhere between 7:45am-8:00am until I finish...which some days is 5pm and others is 1:00am the next morning, depending on if I'm involved in something I feel a burning need to get finished in one sitting.

I've had to work long hours to learn this business since I switched to the adult industry and I'm not 100% there yet, but I suspect as I get more in tune with what goes on, I will be able to cut my hours back to a reasonable 8-10 hour day.

I always dress to impress - because you never know who you're going to meet when you step outside your front door. It could be Donald Trump waiting to hire you as his next executive director for $5m a year. You don't think he'd hire you if he saw you dressed like a bum do you?

We just ditched our office. All working from home now. Until now I have been working and not getting dressed. I bought loungewear trouser to put on when working. Now tho I go to the gym in the morning before working so I come home all sweaty and smelly so I have a shower and get dressed

See I wondered about all of this originally. To me it seems like when i get up and get fully dressed shoes on and all then I feel more productive or get more done so I guess it affects my mindset. But when I sit around in my t-shirt and a pair of shorts I still feel lazy and tend to sit back and read this fucking site way too much.

Usually just shorts and a polo shirt when I'm at my home office and slacks and a nice business shirt when I visit any of my corporate offices.

I stopped wearing suits years ago. I love going to biz meetings where all the "corpie suits" are suited up and I'm nice and comfortable. Its fun to see the envy in their eyes.
