Anyone notice the NBC undercover cameras at the show?

I know I was VERY careful who I spoke with at, and around the show. Were you?

beemk 01-09-2004 12:10 AM

i could just see a bunch of drunk people saying stuff they regret

Centurion 01-09-2004 12:10 AM

They were airing video about the tech show in Las Vegas on tonite's Nightly News.

Got a feeling the "adult" side will be shown soon! :)

JDog 01-09-2004 12:11 AM

No, I didn't notice many people there! How do you see the undercover people from NBC?

RRRED 01-09-2004 12:12 AM

I was gonna ask you about that. I had a guy who was asking way too many detailed questions after acting like he knew how everything works. It was clear he was very off and really wanting info...I was able to slip away gracefully.

Definately creepy so I was careful.

What's the scoop on that anyway?

serious 01-09-2004 12:18 AM

woudln't they have to get permission before showing your face if you did an "interview" with an undercover guy?

time will tell who what when where

Platinum Doug 01-09-2004 12:23 AM

No, they don't need permission to show your face in news - that's only if you're a minor. But I didn't notice anyone there like that . . . and it would really surprise me if they were. There's no need to go undercover for a porn convention - what would they gain??? If they were there and undercover, they would have to be covering some crazy, whacked out story.

Its all to get viewers, see if they advertise the show:

Tonight we will show you blah blah blah of porn

that wont do it

much better if they say:

We went undercover to the porn convention, wait until you see what we uncovered

its all business

For news? No way. Haven't you ever watched 60 minutes? They always used to ambush people and sneak cameras in places and stuff like that.

Rich 01-09-2004 01:27 AM

This is why most casino gatherings are held offshore.

Ludedude 01-09-2004 02:58 AM

Yep, Brad is right. They were there and they were trying to be incognito.

You guys are such full of shit. I combed through that crowd 100x over and I never saw any NBC shit. You must have smoked too much meth at the show.

"Hi mom!"

I wonder if he caught AJ from the Backstreet Boys and Joey Fatone from NSYNC. That would shock a few moms out there!

hornycash 01-09-2004 04:50 AM

i was also undercover ...

Carrie 01-09-2004 06:22 AM

Look at the pic of him posing with the girls in the article... most likely he went in there expecting to find stereotypical perversion and instead ended up having a blast and seeing it's all business.

No worries though, journalists are used to setting the truth aside to put out a "good" story.

TheEnforcer 01-09-2004 10:12 AM

Should be interesting....

BradShaw 01-09-2004 12:06 PM

I noticed the cameras following Python people...... I hear they are looking deep into Vanderpool and his operation and overseas "stuff".

They should be looking at Acacia and the puppetmaster behind that organization.
