Following up on the earlier discussion about .jp domain names...just curious to get everyone's opinion on the value of these domain names?

I'd say the value comes from what they are worth to you personally.

They're worth whatever the cheapest .jp registrar's price is for registering .jp domains.

The domains are only worth = Traffic the domain gets

You could get a good .jp name and build a nice site, throw some traffic at it and get some sales, i'm sure it would pay for it's self a few times!
