high-risk merchant accounts...

Hey.

Some of you could be making a lot of money referring business to us. The longer I am sitting here working at PaySystems, the more I realize that we have not even close to capitalized on the potential market. Do a search on Google for "internet merchant account" or "online credit card processing", or anything else you think is relevant, and we are nowhere in the top 30 results. Because of this, we have only recieved the business we have via word of mouth. If any of you think you can create a TGP or something similar and send us hig-risk business that we specialize in (non-adult, non-gaming, but travel, pharmacies, dating services, etc.) let me know. I can set you guys up with residual commissions and can probably get you something up front, some kind of CPA deal.

Let me know, and send me the business.

Cheers
James

Wouldn't be advertising on GFY a better idea that on TGP's ? :helpme

EscortBiz 01-08-2004 02:12 PM

who uses you

greentea 01-08-2004 02:13 PM

who are you a reseller for?

playa 01-08-2004 02:23 PM

Way to many horror stories from paysystems

jacker 01-08-2004 02:23 PM

greentea who are you a reseller for?

We are not a reseller...we are a third party billing company. We pretty much own the pharmacy and travel market in terms of rates and settlement but the thing is, many, many merchants don't even realize that we exist. And many that do know, do not realize our magnitude.

EscortBiz who uses you

I don't really want to post a list of our merchants right here, but shoot me an email and I will point you to some sites of our larger merchants. Obviously, you could just copy and paste that info right here, :), but for me to do it would make me feel a little unprofessional.

polish_aristocrat Wouldn't be advertising on GFY a better idea that on TGP's ?

GFY attracts an adult-specific market. Many of the successful adult guys also dabble in mainstream, and we definitely have clients that are regulars here, but the bulk of our business is comprised of mainstream high-risk...

Dear Merchant,

As we have advised you in previous communication, we are continuing to monitor your processing account. Our records indicate your chargeback ratio continues to exceed acceptable levels established by the credit card organizations.

As a result of exceeding acceptable levels in consecutive months, your chargeback fee will be increased to $125.00 per chargeback effective immediately and we will continue to monitor your account.

Should the results continue to reflect an excessive rate of chargebacks, your account will be re-evaluated and may result in an increase to holdback percentage, transaction fees, or possible termination of your merchant account.

We thank you once again for your understanding and will continue to work with you in order to rectify the above situation.

Don't bother, I'll work with myself
:thumbsup

No, unfortunately from my perspective. The two prohibited verticals are adult and gaming...everything else is handled case by case.

The thing is, they were hot cards that THEY approved. There were no legitimate chargebacks, as in "an unsatisfied client".

I was working my ass off to re-scrub cards that were already approved.

Get this: Every time I went and caught a hot card that they let through, even an hour or 2 later, called Sam in the fraud department and had it reversed, I got to still pay the fucking fees !

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

My educated advice, stay away, far far away.

Jacker, every time you come here, I will bury you. Just like I do with people who cheat me. I will tell the truth, and I will provide the facts.

I WILL cost you more than you cost me. I promise you that.

What?s the point? I have yet to meet one single person who has gotten a high risk merchant account from you guys. It seems your risk assessment team doesn?t like anything high risk.

Want an example? I have a DVD store which I sell DVDS off of. I get a customers signature on every order placed since it is couriered out. Am I High Risk? Not really, mainstream sites do what I do and have no problems getting a merchant account.

How about My video site, where I bill other businesses and have yet to have a single charge back from, did you guys accept that? Nope.

We do not accept adult accounts. The reason you were turned down is not because your legitimate adult DVD store or video site were too risky for us. They were turned down because they were adult related. As my first post says, "high risk excluding adult and gaming."
