still camera for smut!

what is the best digital still camera for 1k$ or under to shoot smut in low to medium light--- (indoor)

i wanna be a smut peddler!

im looking at the canon digital rebel... but have read many reviews stating that it doesn't shoot well in low light and also has a slight auto-focus prob.

The canon digital rebel is a good camera, but i think i read bad reviews about it when shooting smut. Something about the contrast between pink and peach...i would do a search on google first :2 cents:

The first step to being a smut peddler is owning the domain TheSmutPeddler.com. You should buy it.

i would go with a canon a70 or 80, s400 or rebel, or 1 of the G series.

they all seem to maintain the color the best. as far as low light. you will need a slave flash.

digital cameras always need alot of light

Love the Sony Mavica and the CD-R means no dicking around
with transfers.

The new Sony F828 is awesome, and it now takes Memory Stick AND Compact Flash! We got it at Best Buy for $1000. We also use the Sony CD-500, which is a great 5 MP camera for less than $600.

Check here for reviews:

We use the CD-500 a lot. We like the idea of having a CD backup and raw storage for every photo that we take, just in case a hard drive ever fails. The discs are only .40 a piece.

Ive sold digitsal cameras for years the best value camereas i believe available are the fuji fine pix s7000
http://www.leoscamera.com/Photo/Digi.../S7000_l_1.jpg

this best value in my opinion for money competes with the cannon and nikon equivilants at a cheaper price without going to a full digital SLR

if under $1000 and low light is your goal probably olympus c5050 due to its fast lens.

if you could go above $1000 and get into SLR the rebel would not be a bad choice.

2nd choice would be canon G3 thru G5 series (again using only the criteria of total price and low light capability)

the right digital camera needs much less light than a comparable film camera.
