How much can I ask for a working paysite?

I'm just curious if it would be a good deal for me...
I've done a foot fetish paysite, started in August last year, featuring 100% original content, all photos shoot by ourselves, approx. 10k photos, about 100 2-minute video clips, some foot stories, really nice design, custom script (written by me) with many features including picture search, admin area with very easy picture adding/sets enabling and disabling, each set can be described and a category (categories) can be selected for a set, ability to create polls in member area, etc.
The only problem is that was probably better in creating it than I am in marketing because I can't find a ways to attract traffic although I've submited it to almost every foot fetish resource, directory, etc. which I have found. The traffic is currently about 500 uniques a day which is really poor.

How much would you people pay for such a website if you were interested in buying a site?

Thanks for your opinions...

Judging by your location, you're based in Slovakia. Are u sure the chicks are hot? Cos self-made content could be very good or very bad ...

Post the site if you want a real opinion, the 500 uniques per day mean nothing, especially if you can't convert any of them to a paying customer.

3 months income is not the way to measure the value of this website, since its not marketed correctly.

IMHO you would need to calculate the value of the content produced and the tools/scripts you have there. Also the amount of time you spent on writing descriptions etc should be considered.

Take care and good luck!!

why not start an affiliate program, or hire someone to market it for you?

If the site is nice, add an affiliate program (through CCBill) and hosted galleries. You'll start making money.

basschick 02-09-2004 11:34 AM

if the site is nice, and the girls are at least okay, why aren't you doing an affiliate program? you'll get lots of different kinds of traffic and sales you don't have to work for.

URL, I may be interested.

PlayGirl 02-09-2004 12:14 PM

what's the site?

Naughty 02-09-2004 12:21 PM

I'm having the same issue.

About the 3 month income calculation: Anybody who would do that would be the dumbest fuck ever. You can let a site die and make money from it a lot longer than 90 days :2 cents:
