Well it's very hard to control disease. Look at mad cow and how rapidly it can spread. That's why they destroy whole herds of cattle. Ever see the site the Meatrix? You can get a idea of how animals are kept. Pretty hard to control disease when your trying to cram a ton of animals in small spaces so you can make more money.
