My pagerank button stopped working last night . ( its just showing a blank bar )

Is anyone else's working/not working ?

working here. I feel dumb giving you computer advice but "delete temp files" works for me when that happens.
If that doesn't work I kill a chicken at midnigth but you probably have more options.

Just fired up IE to check one of my hubs, still reading PR4. Everything else seems to be in order too.

Yah sorry i forgot to re-post, i was using a different google server to check pagerank ( by changing my hosts file ) and i guess the server stopped working. I just stopped redirecting the toolbar queries in my hosts file and it worked again :)


You know something strange, i won an domain in a contest about a month ago, and i didnt have any plans for it , so i had it parked and pointed at another domain that was a pr5 and then just 2 days ago i unparked it and set the hosting up and now it has a pr5 on its own ? Its like it somehow gained the pr from the site it was parked with .

Most likely it's still cached in Google's db. It will return as normal in the next update.

Pagerank in the bar is dead for quite a few people at the moment. Seems to depend on which server it's using to look stuff up. Dead on all sites for me for 24 hours now.

Last time it happened things became very interesting (ie Florida update) shortly afterwards. Only time will tell :)

Thats what i thought. Thanx . Strange though because , when it was parked it didnt get any pr rating at all. It only got the pr5 as soon as i unparked it and had it by itself.

Just found the problem my end. I was checking pr via the va data center and va is down at the moment. It's fine now I've changed the hosts file.
