CCbill news Alert

CHANGE MADE TO WEBMASTER PROGRAM DETAILS AREA!!!!

After careful review of the newly released Webmaster Program Details area, a glitch was found and has been fixed in the reporting of Webmaster Program payments.

In the case of less than one percent of our Webmaster Programs ? if the Webmaster had their custom Payment Options turned off , meaning they did not wish to create any special program payment scenarios for their Affiliates, and wished for their affiliate to receive unlimited number of rebill payments, the system was reading and reporting this option as "x-number" of rebills in the Program Details area.

We have fixed this problem, and now all Webmasters who have payment options turned off, will report their program offering payments for rebills after: "unlimited" rebills.

Our apologies for this miscommunications, and we will be watching the system closely to make sure that there are no further inaccuracies in the reporting of this information on our side.

Many thanks for your patience in regards to this matter.

That still doesn't explain why there are at least 3 designers out there (me included) who haven't been paid by Jeff.

biskoppen 01-07-2004 12:46 PM

Now its time to sign up for all these sponsors which wasn't cheating after all .. and then watch the subscriber ID very carefully rebills after rebill .. it better don't turn red!!!

:winkwink:

i figured that :winkwink: i just think that they should be proud of showing that to webmasters, not calling it a glitch. CCBill has done nothing wrong by adding that feature, some mainstream program will only pay for the first couple rebills. I think that the webmaster should be able to see this:2 cents:

Nickless 01-07-2004 12:48 PM

but the rebills were not paid for, glitch or not.

Just becasue they didn't get caught in the rebill flap doesn't mean that a sponsor was not cheating! There is more than one way to shave.

biskoppen 01-07-2004 12:52 PM

This business is fucking AREA51 .. you can't trust no-one ! ..

I dont pretend to know the facts. But if this is CCbill trying to cover up for fraudulent affiliate programs this is fucking sad.

If this is true, I'd say they owe Jeff and others a lot of money in damages.

Because sponsors make them a lot of money. If a sponsor gets fucked (like PC) they lose money.

RockDaddy 01-07-2004 01:46 PM

What is "x"

What about the sponsors that had (0) rebills, what about the ones set to cancel after (2) or (3) rebills.

Is "x" a random number and covers all of these?? Or is "x" a specific number? Like the sites that showed zero or one rebill was caused by this "glitch"

Someone needs to be specific before I start promoting ANYONE on that cheaters list.

Matt -

I can personally vouch for this being the case on a CCBill account I manage for a client. I checked, double checked, and triple checked that the setting was correct, and then verified the misinformation in my own affiliate stats area.

Whether or not perfectiongirls stats were set to disabled, I don't know... But I can tell you this was the case with my client...

hmm.. seems so far I know no-one who did including myself.. :(

SinSeer 01-07-2004 02:28 PM

i don't like the sponsors that tell you 'rebills for life' when you very specifically read their terms of service, then the new tool tells you it cancels after 1.

then ccbill confirms in email that it cancels after 1 for me.

i think they should lose their ccbill accounts, it's no glitch, ccbill told me so and they don't lie

Dissillusioned SinSeer, waiting for the next ccbill email

after reading the new posts while replying, i have to add: well damn if they fixed the stats someones lying cause mine still says 1, and the sponsors page still says 'rebills for life of the member' under terms
