Vegas - is it worth going

I know a lot of people in the adult biz are going to Vega for the adult thing, but is it worth going?

I thought about going next year.

Is it easy to get in a hotel, or are they all full?

If you want free drinks, free food, and to get wasted all day, yes its good!

it's a great opportunity to meet the sponsor owners that shave your accounts, the webmasters that owe you money, the ones that copy your work and act like nothing wrong about it.....

Patries are ok and all.

But networking is where ya make your money.

it's a great way to make new contacts and strengthen the relationships that u have already...I've made some great friends as well...going to the shows is also like a family reunion almost...there are some of us who go to all the shows and are close so it's a great excuse to see eachother!:glugglug

It's all about putting names to faces, and having people put a face to your name. Networking is an important thing to do, but one one of the nights, you just need to cut loose and have fun!

I'd suggest the trip here, and there's always a hotel to stay at if the site hotel is full.

For those of you who think it's only good for drinking and eating...cool stay home leave the business to those of us who use their time in Vegas wisely :)

I got so much business done it's amazing. I also got to meet so many current clients as well as new clients and book job with both :) so sure it's not worth it at all stay home please ;)

Oh god all these guys that always say they get business done at a convention where most everyone is walking around drunk off their ass and won't remember what the heck they agreed to when they come out of it. You never end up doing most of the deals that get so called done at the shows. Been through it so many times its ridiculous. People say sounds good I'll call you when I get back and you never hear from them.

Its great to go and have a break, relax, have fun, put faces to names, network a little, see who's who for real, etc. But mostly its a just a lot of socializing, drinking, eating and partying.

Just to late now, maybe next time?

Feel free to think what you will...not everyone is the same...I'm well aware of how many business deals will fall through just because people are too drunk to remember if they even wore their underwear...but those were not the kind of events I attended and when I did attend those kinds of events any biz discussed was taken with a grain of salt.

Not everyone doing business here is someone who just turned the drinking age and has not figured quite yet how to behave properly in public.
