Thinking of opening up a new non adult merchant account with CSI, question is this

anyone else who has a merchant account with CSI, did you have to pay the linkpoint software license fees: $395 Set Up Fee?

Why so much for the license fee just to use there gateway?


Anything else good or bad about CSI, i would love to hear it.

They suck ass. They will nickel and dime you to death, their salesmen are cockholsters, and the company is full of nothing but pricks. I would never do business with them again.

Yes there are cheaper ways - different agents charge different things actually.

And only a few of their sales agents are. I follow up with everyone to make sure they understand everything & they are getting their money's worth

I have had great luck with this place and they waived the setup fees. I think I got their name off this board.

no hassle.. i paid $200 but i see they are now offering no set up fees and instant approvals and activations.

never a problem and the gateway is authorizenet.com

Having the merchant account with CSI is ok. I've had one with them for 5 years. Do not take the LinkPoint service, it is down quite often. Both transaction and reporting. I've lost money becasue of LinkPoint. If you're doing non-adult, use AuthorizeNet instead of LinkPoint.

If you have a relationship with your bank, I would suggest getting the merchant account through your bank.

These guys have an excellent shopping cart. I believe the merchant account is through CSI. They're waiving the fee if you get at least one year of shopping cart service.

i think the fee is not reasonable
