Enough whining. How are you taking advantage of the weak dollar?
 

Ok, so for most of us Euro's and other non-US webmasters earnings have been hurt significantly by the weak dollar. It sucks, but there's not much we can do about it.

The important question right now is what you are doing to take advantage of the current state of the dollar. Prices haven't evened out yet, so you can still buy stuff at severe discounts right now. You definitely get a lot more bang for your euro right now, and because of that this would probably be a great time to invest instead of save.

So what are you guys doing to profit from this situation?

me is buying real estate in the states right now

Real estate does sound like a good idea. Don't know about stocks though... I have no clue what the long term effects of the low dollar on the stock market will be.

This freaking weak dollar is killing me!

I read some article about the low dollar earlier today and it said in 1995 it was even worse. Much lower then today.
I didn't realize that, maybe cuz in 1995 I was not really interested in the dollar rate I had not even been on the internet by then...

For us as an European Contentprovider who calculate in ? it's pretty hard and at the moment I have no way around this problem. I would love it, if the $ will come back to a close 1:1 to the Euro.

I'm taking advantage of it. I'm running down to exchange this 12 euro Ive got in my desk from my last trip to Europe.

probably buy some stuff online so I can even out the losses :)
