Even if it is just land with no dwellings... But do the research first...

we have a piece in Naples FL. that we paid like 6k for. The last offer we got was 19k. But because of a University that is going in 4 miles from it we are going to sit on it a little longer...

Kush, I agree for the most part. However, I don't think there's anything wrong with doing some fix and flips to increase one's investment bankroll.

Just make sure to always hang on to some of it. It is really amazing what a 20% return does over 20 years.
