http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/Midwest/0....ap/index.html

I swear, that woman who lost the ticket in the first place is probably going to commit suicide.

Mojo Rizin 01-06-2004 09:45 AM

what I dont understand as why the chick went and filed a police report.. was that supposed to suddenly make her claims credible?

pornguy 01-06-2004 09:45 AM

No, she will sue and get the money!

malakajoe 01-06-2004 09:45 AM

The bitch probably didn't lose the ticket. Just heard it was sold at that store.

If I was that dude, I wouldn't claim I found it. Just say you bought it there.

Digipimp 01-06-2004 09:46 AM

That dumb bitch never lost the ticket are you kidding me.

Actually, I have heard in California about being doing exactly that. If no one claims it, and you can correctly say when you bought it, etc... sometimes they might pay you. Happened a few times here.

^R3K^ 01-06-2004 09:47 AM

She is on Fox news now, And they are giving it to the chick

iroc409 01-06-2004 09:47 AM

no doubt... how could she verify that she won if she didn't have the ticket? can you really remember all those numbers?

TheEnforcer 01-06-2004 09:51 AM

With a jackpot of that size I am sure she waited in line just to get it..

So are you saying that anyone that was in line with the winner could just as easily claim the prize?

BigFish 01-06-2004 09:53 AM

WAKE YOUR ASSES UP. SHE DIDN'T HAVE THE WINNING TICKET TO BEGIN WITH SO THERE WAS NOTHING TO LOSE. ahahah bunch of gullible little girls on GFY. What part of she made up the whole story do you not understand!

Where did anyone say she really DID win..

ATL_Ryan 01-06-2004 09:58 AM

The ticket numbers match all her family's ages. The numbers she claims to have played.

how come she was the only one who oficially filed the loss ?
wouldnt there be thousands of other people who'd claim they had lost the ticket too ?

Other Ohio Woman Turns In Winning Ticket

smproduction 01-06-2004 10:01 AM

Who has the ticket is the winner, that is the best solution, if she really losed it, she is too idiot to win that amount.

WebTitan 01-06-2004 10:03 AM

hey! i had that ticket too! where is my money?? :1orglaugh

PimpMeNot 01-06-2004 10:04 AM

The actual winner has played the same numbers for 2 years now.
The lottery officials have verified it by going through their record.
End of Story.

HarlotCash Dyker 01-06-2004 10:05 AM

Apparantly, when she filed the complaint, she was able to give all details about which sore she purchased it from and at what time - Even the Police said it was most likely she was telling the truth because no one else would have known these details.

Head 01-06-2004 10:05 AM

Finders Keepers! But if she lost it; and somebody fond it! It's safe it assume to was lost! So she Probably did loss it. But Still....

Of course, she shops at the same store where the ticket was bought, the cops now say she probably overheard the store owner talking about selling the ticket before it was made official.
I have to admit it takes some nerves to try a scam that big.

sweandy 01-06-2004 10:08 AM

The woman who "lost" the ticket should try to sue the winner. Oh yeah ain't in the US where you will win anything if you have enuff money?

i guess $162M against nothing? :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

What a fucking looser.

Theo 01-06-2004 10:08 AM

BLACK MAGIC WOMAN

Ross 01-06-2004 10:13 AM

All I'm gonna say is:

If that woman really did loose then it haha to the stupid bitch for not keeping it a safe place.

If the woman who claimed it didn't really win then KARMA is a bitch. She'll probably fall out with her husband, get divorced and loose all her money.

Good luck to both of them!

She also talked to an attorney and an accountant.

One answer -

But -

Often, the winning ticket is held back by the owner for some days because of holiday or other reasons -

This woman said she bought the ticket and "lost" it.

Fact is, someone then said they "found" it - Sort of adds a little wieght to her story -

WebTitan 01-06-2004 10:15 AM

i bet a dollar that the person who turns the ticket in is her boyfriend...

Because she's the only one DUMB enough to think that her report might actually make her 162 million dollars.

the woman should first establish ownership of the
ticket before she can sue the new owner in court.

nobull 01-06-2004 10:38 AM

on every ticket there is an area for you to write in your name, address and sign it, it is only your property AFTER you sign the ticket. if i found the ticket on the street i would pick it up, sign it and bring it to the lottery office and cash it in. The only way the chick that said she "lost" the ticket is going to get is a pay-off from the chick that won just to shut the hell up.

the only way she can prove is if she had past tickets playing the exact same numbers week in and out,

i know ppl who do that, she probly didnt play this week and "her" numbers came out and she almost shat herself and started a scam.

South Euclid police Lt. Kevin Nietert said he had not been able to reach Battle and her attorney by phone.

He said that if it was later determined there was a lack of truthfulness, police could consider criminal charges. The charge could be filing a false police report, a misdemeanor punishable by 30 days to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, he said.

Talk about double speak.
The bitch LIED.

Odie 01-06-2004 01:07 PM

my question is...if u knew that u just won $162 mil would u wait to cash in the ticket???? hell no!!! I'd be running to the damn lottery place to cash it in as fast as I can...

Raf1 01-06-2004 01:18 PM

If she can't even take care of a ticket then she doesn't deserve the money because she's just too stupid. The person that found it should keep the money.
No ticket = no fucking money bitch :1orglaugh

Brat 01-06-2004 01:39 PM

Maybe I'm just seeing this the wrong way but it seems to me the woman lost the ticket before numbers were called. then when numbers got called couldnt find her ticket and went to the media.now this other woman has the same numbers and claims the winnings. who says this other woman FOUND this ticket? it clearly states that she's been playing the same numbers for like 2 years. Also, is it not possible for two people to play the same numbers?? come on.
