Yahoo dumps Google

It wouldn't dent Google's dominance in search...that's my bet.

yahoo has a lot of surfers
it's very well worth being in their top 10 :2 cents:

The strategy isn't simply to match what Google does now but to add features its rival can't easily match.

What does Yahoo have that Google can't match? Google has a directory, they have news, Froogle, usenet, image search, they have PPC results. They don't have banners and full page ads, which Yahoo does. I guess those annoying advertising bonuses will make people want to use Yahoo more. :1orglaugh

Yeah I havent used Yahoo for searching in years anyways.

Used to be pretty sweet getting an adult site listed in their directory though. 5-10k of the creamiest hits / day with the right keywords.

Nope. Terry Semel is not the CEO of Google. If it were then this would be a serious conflict of interest and breach of fiduciary duty on his part.
