Ive never seen it until about 20 minutes ago.. I always thought it was just cheap redneck entertainment.. but it's pretty funny

..then again, I am from baton rouge

I love that show, my favorite show it is, along with Las Vegas

Loved that show early on, but it got to be the same old same old after a while.

Cops is good entertainment.. Anyone remember "worlds wildest police videos"? Now that was one hell of an entertaining show with that sherrif John Bunnel guy doing the commentary... He was the corniest host every seen on TV.

i love the fact that they can film cops treating people illegally and get away with it. heh:helpme

Yeah, they tackle a naked and get his wang all scraped on the road, they're reason is, "he may have been hiding a concealed firearm"

Tonight they showed 2 minors that stole and crashed a car, one was arrested right away, found the other one not moving in bushes, so they go over and slapped him several times then told him to get up. Just the thing I want to happen when I get ejected from a car accident :thumbsup

That fucking show has probably done more to push a rightwing reactionary agenda glorifying the police state and celebrating cops as culture heros in this country than practically any other single cultural excrement in the US corporate media.

You constantly see peoples rights being violated in the name of the drug war with illegal searches of vehicles, and since all they show are the successful searches nobody cares. What they don't air are all the searches of peoples cars that turns up nothing.

AMW is one show i try not to miss.

I liked it when it first came out, but you can only take so much of seeing drunk white guys walking around with their shirts off, and black guys running from police so they can throw their dirty crack pipes in the alley.

Plus the arrogance of some of the police on there turns my stomach.

When they gather all the good chase scenes and spit out a "World's Wildest Police Chases" episode it's pretty cool though.

Cops is a great fucking show! When I was in college we used to have a drinking game one of my buds came up with while watching Cops. GOOD SHIT!!! :thumbsup
