yea it sucks :(

corvett said something about showing the sponsor's settings for rebills in the new stats, but i guess the sql procedure to dump that info is too complex ;)

The easiest way to ruin your reputation for life in this industry is to fuck over the people that are working their asses off to make you money.

Fuck your sales people over and in reality you're fucking yourself over.

When you get caught you will experience the unimaginable wrath of vindictive adult webmasters.

On a positive note, you won't have to ever worry about Identity Theft, because you won't have an identity left when they get done with you nor one you would want to keep anyway.

Go for it cowboy!

Glad to see someone with a brain around here, thanks.

oh and YES this is the case.

if you know for a fact that there are settings to turn off rebills after X times, why wouldn't there be an option to 'turn off' referral credit? glo-bill used to have it folks.

Since i don't have a webmaster account at ccbill (affiliate only) i wanted to check with an honest user of ccbill if there was such option.

Exactly, that's why i placed a ;) at the end of the sentence :1orglaugh

It's 1 line of sql to add in the affiliates stats.

HS-Trixxxia 01-05-2004 09:16 PM

Actually, when the new system was put online - all the setting were correct except one sponsor I noticed had me on a .05% option instead of the 50%........I know they'll all tell me that the system wasn't tweaked but all the others were fine - only that one was wacked.

No, CCBill does not have a "turn off" setting for new sales.

Nickless 01-05-2004 09:25 PM

So we agree showing that info is easy, why wouldn't ccbill want to show it?

Probably because of fear of losing the shaving webmasters, leaving to use other processors that let them continue with the recurring shaving...

But at the same time affiliates will have even more confidence in ccbill (absolute no-shaving guarantee) and create excellent publicity, webmasters can leave, but affiliates will stay, and grow.

Even giving the option to the program's webmaster to choose to show or not would be ok.

BV 01-05-2004 09:34 PM

Don't you think affiliates would wonder what the hell is going on if they never got any rebills?

That feature is there for custom payout purposes.

pussyluver 01-05-2004 09:40 PM

Better to be a sponsor than an affilaite. Best to have traffic that all want :-)

Of course, that's why you can set it to a percentage or times to rebill (at least i've seen it worked that way in globill, dunno how it works in ccbill)

so you get 3 or 4 rebills and after that nothing.

or you get 30% of your real number of rebills.

Nickless 01-06-2004 06:26 PM

ccbill added the recurring settings details, i will be promoting ccbill programs only now :thumbsup
