So many passwords, what do you do?

With so many passwords do you find yourself using a similar or even the same password at many different places even though you know maybe you shouldn't be. Or do you come up with something totally different and original for every single thing you sign up for and if so, do you keep a written record, a file or what to keep track of it?

For $1 a month, I can hold a copy of all your passwords and will email you when you request it. I'll even do 3 months for $2

Too cheap!! I think you will work bad....
I'll make this for $50/mo :)

yo dude...I'm totally there with you on the password thing. Best trick is to use a phrase that is not so common, but meaningful to you:

Too Many PassWords Drive Me Crazy = TMPDMC

throw a number and something else in there. Then do slight variations for each account. Of course, if some admin somewhere discovers one, the game is up ;-)

I think I need to find myself a good password management database that I can encrypt with a password and then make that one password extra difficult and then write it down, put it on disk or some shit somewhere, fedex it to a man in the swiss alps who will then courier it to a man in the desert of saudia arabia who will take it and stick it in a spider hole and wait for when I need to retrieve it.

I like to announce a new service from pornstar2pac: pass-elite. For $1 dollar a month I will hold a copy of all your passwords, just in case you need em. You can have 5 or 500,000 passwords. the elite package is top of the line. As a grandopening gift i will waive the $1 fee and you just send me a list of all your passwords.
