Photogrphers loan?
 

Hi.

any responses on the following:

I hired for a ten day shooting with 20 models a playboy photographer. I pay per day 300 USD incl. taxes (19%). Do you think this is a good deal or a bad deal? Let me know what you think.

Any photographer with even close to those credentials charges $500 to $3000 a day + assistants if such high profile shooters are even available. Your guy is full of shit. My photo/video/lighting assistants charge me $200 - $300 a day. better check his credentials again. As far as I know Arny Frytag & Kim Muzuno shoot for Playboy along with one or two other guys whos names escape me. If he's a good photographer and his work suits your needs then hire him, but if he lies about shooting for Playboy... well... you're on your own.

300$ a day for a photoguy and models? Hmmm dont expect too much.

In CZ is possible to hire a profi photographer for $300 per day but in US I don`t think so.

Depends from where the photographer comes from. But if it'a a reputated photographer from Playboy, it's a pretty good deal. But I guess it's not (not for this price) probably he had the luck once to shoot one girl for it and therefor it depends to where he comes from.
Is he from USA, UK, DE, NL, FR, IT etc. a good deal
From CZ, HU it's ok

Yep, it will depend on your location - you can hire a good glamour photographer for $300 here but I doubt you'll be able to do so in the US. However, if it's a 10-day job maybe it's not such a bad deal. Especially if you expect him to shoot for like 4 hours a day.
