All it takes is one infected person to fly from China to wherever you are to spread it

Its only 1 in 10 death rate right, and at that its mostly the elderly, no? Not that I dont have relatives that I care about, but its hardly something to scream the sky is falling about.

I don't think it would have mattered had it been as far away as you can get geographically. This thing seems to be an airborne virus of some sort and people carry this stuff onto the airplane and spread it this way.

That's what happened last year..when I think the first case then was in Viet Nam, and doctor, and Italian, who first diagnosed this caught it..took it back to Italy, and then passed away.

And of course, Toronto had a large outbreak.
So..it's a MUCH smaller world than a lot of us think.

I don't know what the % is...but even one out of very 10 people on earth amounts to a lot! And no..it is not limited to elderly.

And who said the sky was falling. Just made an observation that after months of no cases, a new one has been confirmed.
It's NOT something to ignore.

It's kind of impossible to wipeout a disease unless you develop a vaccine. This shouldn't be in the least surprising.
