Chargeback Ratios
Ok solve this problem for me....
I wanna split the risk with my processors so for 15 days have transactiongs going through processor A then for other 15 days through Processor B Problem is 10)% transactions used to go through Processor A , CB ratio at like 0.3% NOW am i right in believing I can not just do the above I would have to slowling ween it off to make sure CB stays below 1% so eg 1 month 25 days with processor A and then 5 days with Processor B etc etc? If thats the case it sucks... Or is the 1% only if you get over 100 cbs in a mnth... Confused as hell but wanna stay in the rules. |
It's probably best to ask your processors for absolute clarification, but the way I understand it you will have problems if you suddenly slow down the rate at which you are sending transactions through processor B. The current initial transaction count will be lower, but the chargeback counts will be consistent with your transaction levels from 3 months ago (or whatever), thus pushing up your CB ratio.
This is just my understanding, best to ask the experts. :2 cents: |
You have mainly product sites, why so many chargebacks? You shouldn't have to worry as much about this.
