Shemp is the one who chose to link to the scam site. So if Oracle bringing it up for discussion has caused Shemp harm, then Shemp screwed Shemp.

In this business what we do is closely watched by other webmasters and if you do something that may be deemed immoral by some, then you've got to believe there's a good chance it'll end up on these boards. Especially if you are big.

In this case Shemp did it right at the top of his flagship site, so it's not like he was trying to hide it like others here are. Who cares if it was brought up by Oracle? People would have seen it anyway.

The only reason I drew that conclusion is because that's pretty much how it looked to me and a lot of other people. Shemp is one of the most upstanding, respectable people in this business, and it pisses me off when people call true respect "sucking cock". If you weren't referring to him specifically, fine, but maybe make that a little more clear :) People can have any opinions they want on things, but unless they know the circumstances, it's not really anyone's judgement call to make.
