Best place to buy domains?

Currently I use DirectNIC. I really love their way to adapt and it is very easy to use, however I have over 60 domains right now and am paying $15 a year per domain so wanted to know if there were any cheaper alternatives worth looking into. I want something that is easy to use and won't screw me over. I know I can get domains as cheap as $8.00 some places or even cheaper but need something easy to organize, transfer, good customer service, and that will always be around and not run away like a previous webhosting company I used. Thanks for your help!

Why are you paying $15 a domain with Directnic? With 60 domains, and their quantity discounts, you would pay $11.55 each - and the service that comes with that is well worth the full $15. :)

I PERSONALLY like godaddy.com. I know several feel otherwise, but I've yet to have a problem. :thumbsup

I use Ev1servers.net's domain service.

Anyone here ever use namecheap.com? is it any good? fast transfers? hassle free? how about "anonymizing/privacy guarding" your domain?

You can register domains at Enom for under $7 a year if you get a reseller account from someone who already has one.

Well I have been purchasing throughout the last 2 years, not all at once. But yes their service is amazing and the site is very straight forward

I have about 50 domains with them, they are superb. Their support turnaround is quick, and definitely hassle-free. I've only had to contact support once.

They don't offer anonymizing/privacy guarding... But with GoDaddy, you don't either. You will still receive complaints with GoDaddy.

The only problem I have with direct nic is the price. Everything else is amazing, there is no advertising on the site from what I see and you can go through the hole site content in less than 30 minutes to fully understand their system and all benifits

Domain Name Systems

http://www.domainnamesystems.com

They're solid, great service. $15 per pop for 0-50 domains, $12 50-100 i believe. Something like that. No more than $15 each for sure though.

There are lots of services with 7 dollar per domain. Do those services provide the same quality as DirectNIC? Also has anyone ever had problems with DirectNIC?

Oh yah, I may as well try to make a few cents off this post. Join directNIC today at http://www.directnic.com/?6776 :thumbsup

enom.com is great.

mkx 01-03-2004 07:58 PM

sacX do you have icq?

Billy-HiRise 01-03-2004 08:07 PM

Raulph using http://www.directnic.com/ is the best choice I would say, I mean you have people who post here who are owners of the company and can help with any majory problems, after years of service they are still one of the tops in the business.

I would think that since some of the domains would be associated with a url that you make money off of why take chances !

mkx 01-03-2004 08:12 PM

Thanks! I appreciate that, I was referred to directnic by a friend in the site design industry and loved it, didn't know that it was that reputable in the industry as it is such a modest page. I appreciate your input!

thewebgarage 01-03-2004 08:46 PM

can someone post a list of $6 registers. Any good ones at that price?

I can sell you domains by $7.99. Contact me. Don't want to give any links here :)

pornoshare 01-05-2004 08:31 AM

I have about 50 domains with godaddy and have never had a problem. The control panel is probably one of the easiest I have found and they offer private domains.

xxxoutsourcing 01-05-2004 11:04 AM

I like godaddy.com

Tippy 01-05-2004 11:08 AM

NameCheap.com gets my recommendation :)
