I see they're still #1 for web site templates on Google |
I just got a template from them a few days ago.
Where is the problem? |
site is still up and running
|
Same here, up and running.
|
Up & Running why ?
|
A lot of the graphics in their designs are stolen, I know this from having bought a few templates and the designer of it forgot to crop out the unused part, which happened to have text saying copyright and exclusively made for X site.
I got a refund after a few email exchanges. Cheers, Matt |
works fine from here.

buy at your own risk - ask them to provide proof they own a license for the photos in the template - they don't.
and there are designers in the adult biz exposing their clients to legal risks by using stock photography from big companies like Getty and Corbis. No adult designer is licensing photos from either of those companies - it's too expensive. Using them on your own sites is one thing, cuz u take the responsibility. |

The way templatemonster works is basically they are a contractor and designers "advertise" their layouts on the site. Now where they get their cut or how they charge the designers etc I dont know. If you notice when your paying for the layout via paypal the funds go directly to the designer. Alot of the layouts on the site are made by same designers. I use to get a few layouts from them but there is better sites out there now that have year long subscriptions and tons of layouts free for you to download and use whenever. Comes in handy if you just need something for a simple site.
