Yes I do. I pay a bit extra to go to a nicer place to have my hair cut simply coz its much better.

I get my hair styled so it doesn't take me too long to fix it. If I go to the local barbers they tend to just shave the back and sides and take too much from the top. In the stylists they constantly ask you what you want it to be like.

I gladly pay a bit more for a hair cut.

I hate getting my hair cut. The difference between a $15 hair cut and a $150 hair cut is the same as the difference between a $1 bottle of water and a $10 bottle of water. They both came out of the tap at the water factory (mountain stream, my ass), but the packaging on one is fancier.

i go to the barber but ill only go to one person. 1/2 of the time the people fuck your hair up so i find someone who does a good job and stick with them.

I know when I used to get those $12 haircuts I was happy. But then I found out for $43 I can get a hot / titty in your face / head massage / straight razor neck hair save / hot towel / flirting.

Exactly. You get what you pay for. I go to a better barber, very cool shop too. Great cuts, and they don't use electric razors to clean up around your neck and ears, they bust out the straight razors...that is how it should be!

And a couple of expensive places i did try - just fucked it up.

David Beckham earns $200,000 per week. I think he can afford to splash out a little on a hair cut. Anyway I'm sure he doesn't actually pay anything. He has more sponsors than anyone else, he does tons of photoshoots. They must fix his hair for him.

I'd say there's a huge difference. My stylist charges $100 + tip and does a great job.
I needed a trim and went to a little shop around the corner. I figured she would just trim the cut I already had. Wrong! I paid like $15 for an incredible bland generic cut.
Later went back to my hairstylist and got a much better haircut and won't make the misstake of getting a cheap cut again.

i guess its the name of the barber shop or parlor... you know if they are famous and quite known in the biz then obviously it is their so called "capital" they earned and worked hard for it just to get that name just like the popular clothes, bags etc that relaly hits the market

I usually just ask a friend to cut my hair with a trimmer. I like it short and cut it often.

I used to get all that for $8 from the old man that cut my hair when I was a in high school/college. That straight razor scared the fuck out of me. He gave a good haircut though. There was always one of his old buddies...some local farmer in there shooting the breeze with him...and your choice of magazines was Farming or Guns.

I've got a little natural curl in my hair and it's thick and full...every chick that has ever cut my hair has complimented me on it. They all one to give me queer hair styles and get mad when I tell them to shave it off. Fuck it, I'm a dude and I'm married. Who do I need to impress?

Once you have had a bad haircut ( I am female) you will NEVER go to a place like Supercuts, Greatclips, etc. again.

I go to a salon and I pay $30 + tip.

It just boils down to what's important to each one of us and our priorities.
