do they wash ALL the sheets in a hotel room?
like the TOP BED SHEET, with the kickass designs and such... this dude told me they dont wash it and you would get quite a surprise if you pass a black light
can anyone confirm this? :helpme |
I can confirm that the top sheet is RARELY if ever washed. I've heard this first hand from a friend who's mother was a maid at a 4 star hotel.
|
Confirmed.
When I was 16 I got summer money at a hotel cleaning rooms. When I was 19 I ran a very exclusive Bed & Breakfast. The towels, bathmat, pillowcases, fitted sheet and flat sheet gets changed. Bedspread goes back on as it was found unless it's visibly unclean (such as puked or pooped on). Oh and if someone drools while they sleep and it gets the pillow wet... you get to sleep on that... all the maids do is change the pillowcase (yummy eh?) |
good question.... my common sense guess is your friend is probably right.... it takes alot of laundry machine space to clean them fuckers, and they're heavy for the maids.... imagine the maid having to lug a whole floors worth of those heavy comforters?
|
Nope, they don't change the comforters. I watched a program a few years ago and they tested some of these things, oh my lord, what they found on those comforters would amaze you. The show recommended you remove the comforter and ask for an extra blanket and ask the maid NOT to put the comforter back on.
|
My friend told me not to use the ice machine in hotels either.
We stayed in the MGMGrand this summer and there were cookies and pieces of sandwich under the sofa. Trash in the trash can. We complained and after 4 days it was still there. If they can't see food then chances are they aren't cleaning very well. I never have seen a laundry bag with anything other than sheets or towels so I think you're probably right. I bring my own pillow. |
No they don't wash the top comforter and if you think about what is on there you'll probably never want to stay in a hotel again.
I just roll it down and leave it that way. Lift your sheets up and look at the mattress. That's an eye opening experience also. The carpets usually have cum also so don't lay your clothes on the floor. |
Heh.
Talking from experience here, and the number of scenes I have shot in a hotel room, I do not recommend using the comfortor when sleeping in a hotel room. Also be careful on where you sit...such as the couch or the chairs...you never know if someone did a solo scene or b/g scene on them and left a little DNA... Hotels are gross...I don't care how many stars they are... |
I've seen room cleaners pushing laundry hampers with lots of sheets and towels, but not with comforters that I can recall, which is another indication that they're infrequently washed.
|
One of my dreams is to own and operate a B&B. I'll guarandamntee that all of my bedstuffs are washed, and the pillows swaped each night.
How hard is it to own at least three of everything for each bed and interchange the dirty stuff for clean stuff and gfo wash the dity stuff?? Christ. |
Yep, I usually pull the comforters off the bed whenever I get into the room.
|
they dont change it. i saw a special on 2020 or something like that on how dirty the bedspread really is.
|
I once shot a wad of cum on a comforter and it was there the next day when i woke up :Graucho
So no they dont. Oh the comforter i shot the cum on wasnt mine btw :thumbsup |
If you are staying at the Venetian be careful. I have came on the bed spreads there many times.
|
I stayed in The Venetian for 8 nights and my comforter wasn't changed once. I never ever used it tho. When I was going to bed I took it off and then just left it for the maid to put back on the next day :)

If you ran a hotel it would be a nightmare to change out pillows and figure out which pillows go out on which days, and the cost of washing the comforter would be too high to make it worth it.

Do you still sell that set on fresh photos? |
I always leave a load of jizz on the comforter for the next person that stays in the room.

You might need a sleeping bag also :glugglug |
Nasty thread :(

Every year since it opened, Venetian has been host to tons of "private Internext parties" where nasty juices are sprayed everywhere. Soon, some of this year's party pictures will be posted here. I bet there are stalactites on many of the comforters. You'd probably find cleaner digs at a Motel6 off the strip.
|
when I go travelling I always bring my own pillow(s) and my own comforter. I don't trust any hotels.

OK ... here is my hotel horror story ...
Me and my girl stayed at a RESORT for a romantic weekend. We checked in ... and went up to our room. We opened the door and went in. There was a DOMINO'S PIZZA box full of crusts, mushrooms, and green peppers on the floor on the side of the bed which could not be seen from the door. Along side of this box were 3 empty bottles of $6 sparkling wine! I couldn't believe my fuggn eyes !! There was also a bottle of barely touched really cheap colonge on the dresser (I think Auqu Velva or something along those lines ...), along with the CVS baggie it was purchased in beside it crumpled on the dresser. I immediately called the front dest and told them ... I was angered enough to demand a new room, but I did not make a fuss, as we were supposed to be having a romantic weekend. I placed the Ghetto Fabulous meal, and the sparkling wine bottles on the bureau IN PLAIN VIEW, so that they would be grabbed by housekeeping in the morning ... The next afternoon, after a wonderful day of shopping and sightseeing, we returned to the resort. We parked on the wing that was closest to our room, and proceeded to go inside ... OUR FUCKING CREDIT CARD KEY DID NOT WORK !!! After saying a few choice words is probably 4 different languages, we walked all the way around (5-6 mins) to the front desk concierge. It appears that even though they charged my creditcard for 2 nights, they had us only registered for the one night and had checked us out. After a 5 minute argument, we were re-checked in, and our key reactivated ... We got to our room and went in .... bed was changed, all the towels were changed ... they even restocked our little bathroom coffee station .... but what STILL fucking remained on the dresser/bureau IN FULL VIEW .... the fucking pizza box and 3 wine bottles !!!!!!!!!:feels-hot I immediately grabbed the wine bottles and pizza box, and marched it to the front desk ... I'd had enough ! From our wing, you had to walk right past their very exclusive restaurant to get to the front desk ... I made sure to clang the wine bottles all the way, creating alot of attention. I placed the wine bottles and the pizza on the front desk, and told the cute female attendant that we brought them champagne and pizza ... SHE THOUGHT I WAS SERIOUS !!!! I informed her that those were the exact same bottles and pizza boxes that were left in our room by the previous guests that were there upon our arrival, and after I even moved them to a very obvious place, they still remained the next afternoon. The girl was sooooooo embarrassed, stating in her 14 years in the hospitality/hotel biz, she had NEVER heard of something that bizzarre. I was very courteous to her, realizing that it was not her fault ... but still requested to be refunded, and we checked into a different hotel. :thumbsup |
Egads, you people wouldn't really even think about sitting on the bedspreads in most any hotel would you?
