You can piss in a circle and hit about 20 'good' server folks, and a couple hundred really bad ones.

I do sysadmin for large companies and some adult folks. However I am currently completely tapped out. I've heard and seen many good things from JFPdude, would talk to him.

No matter whom you end up using, make sure A: you don't give them the root pw(use sudo), and B: get references before you give login info.

Just goes to show, if you hang around long enough on GFY, someone will give anyone a job - I wish I'd been hanging out on here longer

XXX Coders has freelance Sysadmins

I usually look in the mirror :)

That being said, I would probably recommend against hiring a sysadmin over the net... You want to have a trust relationship with your sysadmin, and in most cases a freelance job forum doesn't provide that.

Local geek bar/pub. Find the one on the floor, he's been doing
20 hour days for the past week and finally got to blow off steam.

Any bar/pub with more than a half dozen video games will
tend to attract the geeks.
