uvort 01-02-2004 02:06 PM

Steve is the shit, hes a little crazy at times, but it is his kid and each person does what they see fit with their children

frankthetank 01-02-2004 02:08 PM

Steve Irwin is the fucking man! :321GFY

Jamdin 01-02-2004 02:11 PM

Was he dangling the babe over the croc? I don't see a problem with it since he has babe in his other arm. Besides I am sure there were other people standing by.

puresexnow 01-02-2004 02:12 PM

TV over here was trying to liken it to Wacko Jacko and the window dangling incident...

Australian media honestly has bugger all to report on these days...

nothing wrong with Mr. Irwin.

Makingcoin 01-02-2004 02:13 PM

Is that photoshopped? If not that guy is a complete fucking wanker. I don't care what you say, but that is no way to treat your child. Fuck him.

That makes it ok? That baby would be dead in one chomp!

People are comparing this incident to the Michael Jackson balcony one. The thing is, this Irwin guy is considered an expert in the his field of croc handling, whereas Jackson....... well, is MJ an expert in balcony dangling babies?

Putting defenseless babies at needless risk is retarded no matter how you slice it, but I'll trust the care of an expert over a skinny freakazoid seeking attention of adoring fans any day.

maybe he is an expert in croc handling, but what about baby handling?

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-02-2004 02:19 PM

Think of it this way.

It is traditional for a family to raise a child to the families craft.

Black Smiths taught there kids to make weapons, Kings taught there children to rule.

Saddam taught his child to execute people at a very young age. Point is that Families trades are not always pretty but the principal of raising a child for the families trade and future comes first. Even if it is a dangerous trade and not everyone is willing to do it but there are those that will.

Now if your a pussy and afraid of wild animal's be glad Steve Irwin aint your dad.

SR 01-02-2004 02:21 PM

Of course...
Would you expect anything less from authority?

I'll say this..... with a raw chicken in his other hand, the chances of that croc lunging for anything other than the chicken is about a jabbajillion-to-one.

You mean how he's holding the baby? Lots of parents hold their kids like that once in a while.

beergood 01-02-2004 02:26 PM

Thats some funny shit. He is a professional but fucking come on. You keep your kids 100% out of harms way and looking down the barrel of a pissed off dinosaur isn't exactly out of the way.

Well he knows his trade, and with the knowledge he has, his son is safer in his arms in that photo than fastened up in an automobile.

Jedimaster 01-02-2004 02:29 PM

does anyone have the video clip yet?

Yeah that would be good.

I remember watching the MJ "balcony" footage and shaking my head thinking he was a complete irresponsible tool. He gets a way with so much incredible shit just because he is who he is, it's insane.

Furious_Male 01-02-2004 02:46 PM

Second thread Ive seen on this. This shit really hit a nerve with some people. Talk about fucking drama queens.

Daily kids are exposed to shit. Drug using parents leave shit lying around including booze that kids could get into.

Tons of asshole father and mothers drive under the influence with there kids in the car. etc. etc.

What makes this any different. There was risk but that kids safer there then the media wants you to believe.

RoUgH AiR 01-02-2004 02:54 PM

If Jacko can survive what he has done to his kid in Germany by hanging him over the railing by the neck....Croc guy will be fine. Still stupid though because it is media suicide to do that sort of thing nowadays.

I doubt that the croc would be able to chomp the baby. Steve would be the one to get chomped on first. Bigger target and more meat on his bones...

nathan_f 01-02-2004 02:57 PM

Looks like someone has been getting daddy advice from michael jackson.

The Porn Dude 01-02-2004 02:57 PM

Rictor 01-02-2004 03:26 PM

That would kick ass to have access to crocs if you had kids. You just threaten to feed them to the croc everytime they are bad and all behavior problems solved.

bogo 01-02-2004 03:28 PM

the kid will probably be wrestling crocs at the age of 10

TheEnforcer 01-02-2004 03:29 PM

What a fool!

SilverTab 01-02-2004 03:39 PM

I bet this is how he was raised himself....his father is a crocodile nut too...

Crocodile hunter Steve slammed over baby stunt

Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin may face a police investigation for holding his month old baby son a few feet away from the mouth of a crocodile at his Queensland zoo.

During a packed show at Irwin's Australian Zoo reptile park Irwin held his new son Bob in one arm while using his other to dangle a dead chicken in front of a 13 feet crocodile.

"He's one-month-old, so it's about time Bob got out there and did his first croc demo," the Aussie celebrity famed for his TV shows told the excited crowd with his trademark enthusiasm.

But critics branded Steve reckless.

Australian Family Association spokesman, Bill Muehlenberg said his conduct was tantamount to child abuse.

Queensland Police confirmed that they received complaints from the public about the incident.

Steve - who was recently named Queenslander of the year - defended the stunt, saying the baby was never in danger.

Steve's wife, Terri, looked on as Steve walked Bob to the crocodile pool at the Sunshine Coast wildlife park.

In an interview with an Australian newspaper, Steve defended his behaviour, saying: "This kid has to grow up to be croc savvy.

"I guess what I am doing is teaching him to be completely familiar with crocodiles. There's no way known I would ever endanger my child."

Regardless of what Steve Irwin does in life he should never have done what he did with that baby. Its fucking absurd. Look at the outcry when Michael Jackson hung his kid over the balcony.

He should be arrested for that!

420 01-02-2004 05:19 PM

That child is not in danger. When comparing this to Michael Jackson I think you all are missing one important point. Steve Irwin is not dangling his baby over the crocodile, hes not seeking attention, he's just trying to teach his son what he does for a living.

Titty Fucker 01-02-2004 05:30 PM

Get over it people. Steve knows what he is doing.

And Irwin isn't seeking attention in this? Why else bring your kid on camera with a croc?

So 1 month old baby will understand what is going on? Are you really that dense?
