Rush guitarist arrested
 

Alex Lifeson.. just heard it also. I grew up on Rush, Zeppelin and Floyd.

That's not the first time he 's gotten in trouble. He goes to clibs and gets drunk and causes fights often.
I love the band and he's a very talented Guitar player!

sure neil peart is bad ass, yeah the guitarist is great, but its lame technical rock crap like Steve Vai, music by the numbers with some goofy sounding guy on vocals.

I love their stuff and thought it was innovative for its time.

obviously you've never listened to 'Working Man' or 'Fly by Night'

pick up the album 2112, you'll be digging Rush in no time. They ALMOST went to shit in the late '80's, just like every other band in the world, but it's not like they pulled a Hall and Oates or Foreigner type nosedive, they just got a little eclectic :)

ive owned a few rush albums, exit stage left, 2112... i was told by my music instructors to pick it up.

after i sold them to use cd stores.

ive grown up around musicians my entire life, and i can admit rush is talented, but in my opinion the singer makes the band sound idiotic and goofy.

oh my tom sawyer makes me want to rock out. red barchetta sucks ass.

i like AC/DC you like Rush, very different things. its an opinion remember, i like what i like.

AC/DC before the death of Bon was perhaps the greatest band ever. I've spent more hours listening to them than any other band and knew the lyrics to every song before Back in Black, but I still recognize greatness where I find it and early Rush is about as good as it gets in rock and roll terms... I defy you to dl Working Man and listen to it RIGHT NOW and then come back and disrespect Rush. You can't do it :)

2112 is one of my fav. albums of all time.

Growing up Rush was played at our parties all the time.

Tom Sawyer was the 2nd song I ever learned to play on the drums, first was Loving touching squeezing :)

Most people don't know I am a guitarist first and foremost and have played in numerous bands- some turned famous

other's well ...we were great cover bands- In one of them " paradox" I did a hell of a Tom Sawyer, and "Fly By Night"

I also had a "BABY'S" Cover band-

I know John Waite may have been queer but " Headfirst " was a rockin' tune back in the day!

RUSH is the first band I ever saw live. 3 men with more talent then 90% of the shit hitting the charts today.

Glad to see Alex brought up his son just like him. I am sure thats not the first nor will it be the last time they get in trouble like that.

Hey I grew up listening to those bands too... how about Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Stones, Lynerd Skynerd, and whole lot more :)
