1/3 of Oregon kids live below poverty line
 

That comes as no surprise, this country doesn't care about its citizens.

thats why boneprone lives there...lots of young lads needing some quick cash

this isnt a socialist country. Maybe people should wait till they have a good job before having kids.

mandatory birth control shots for everyone under 18 who does not make a certain amount of money per year. live on their own and support themselves, etc.

I cringe when i see all those x-tian childrens groups begging for money.. I truly want to reach out and bitch slap the lot of them for totally forgetting about the children right here in america living below poverty level...

The amount of lazy, trashy people in many parts of Oregon is astonishing. Coming from CA, I've never seen a people as a whole with a worse work ethic. It often seems half the people expect full benefits, yet either don't work at all or move like molassas. I think it's a combination of the weather, cheap housing, and the state's strong socialist leanings. I think we should change Oregon's motto to "The State Where Hustle and Capitalism Don't Matter."

It sure is sad when we have some of the highest unemployment stats in the country.

Oregon is a great place to live. Very Hi-Tech, beautiful outdoors, good labor costs, and no sales tax :)

the simple solution would be for them to move out of oregon then, no longer would they be oregon kids in poverty... doh
