Every major affiliate program goes where the traffic is, and does their revenue off of wholesale volume. Supermarket style. There are individual sites that NET more than some of the largest webmaster programs. NET is all I care about.

Big affiliate programs payout huge money to webmasters and all the other costs of running a big program.

there are some lean companies out there like Southern-Charms and AmateurTeenKingdom who do tremendous word of mouth business - much more profitable.

it's possible that some of these guys take home more money than the biggest affiliate program operators.
