4 Tampa Strip Clubs Busted for Prostitution
 

For those of you in Tampa, check it out. The Pink Pony, Pony Tails Lounge, Gold Rush Show Bar and Diamonds Show Club were all raided by police & the managers were arrested & charged under organized crime laws.

Managers of businesses that profit from illegal acts can be charged with racketeering, a first-degree felony.

Prosecutors and detectives said the racketeering charges were warranted because police had made more than 30 prostitution arrests at the clubs in the past 16 months.

All have now been fired & replaced.FULL STORY
Damn, I just met with the managers at 2 of these clubs recently about doing some biz... :(

Don't they have actual criminals to go after?
If some people enjoy paying for sex, how exactly is it of anyone's business?

Dick Greco was always trying to go after strip clubs, he helped to ban lap dancing with the 6 foot rule bullshit a few years ago.
The new mayor, Pam Iorio, said she wasn't going to target the adult industry like this, before she was elected. Fucking politicians. :feels-hot

These are usually ugly looking people that don't get laid so they go on a personal crusade against the hot looking girls that can lure in their husbands, boyfriends, etc. and take their money.

That's at the core of these kinds of things.

Strange that they arrested the managers and did nothing with the owners. When I saw that the managers have all been "fired and replaced" I just had to chuckle a bit. Money talks maybe?

But, yes, this hardly seems like it should be a priority, much worse things to worry about.
