Ah don't worry I'm not doing some HYIP scams or anything. I'm doing financial betting with my own methods and analysis software I developed myself. I too have been burnt by the get rich quick crowd :thumbsup

In 30 years you will not be able to retire on $1,000,000. At least not comfortably.

TIP: Put that 3g in a ROTH IRA so you won't have to pay taxes on your gains. Most of us can put in 3k a year but read the rules as they vary based on marital status and income level. Plus there are rules as to when you can take the money out but they're less strict than 401k (you can use your earnings for buying a house for example) and you can take out your initial investment anytime at no penalty.

and what I am saying is , most smart people listen to others advice, take what they can use, and incorporate it into what they do. :winkwink:

Nice article JFK.. I don't take a lot of time to invest but when I was actively doing the investing thing I spread my money out through blue chip stocks and also government bonds.. did about a 60/40 split and was agressive with 60% of my money in the blue chips and the other 40 went into the government bonds which didn't have a great return but it didn't lose either. I think I averaged about a 6.9% gain per quarter.

Sorry, but the coins are not a good investment, especially when you are forced to dump them. You get max 85-90% melt:2 cents:

Well i put about $100 a month for the last 10 years and i have $20,000 maybe more. Better then nothing. I want to do more.

increase it to 500 a month
