Depends on the level of discussion/tone the blog is set to. If your editorial policy is approachable and you post funny news stories meant to fire up conversations, you add valuable user generated content to your site. There are many levels to blogging, I'm just pointing out its potential in regards to porn.

Other benefits include syndication, Google PR, and viral marketing from your loyal readers. A well stocked blog may make the difference between a one dimensional TGP and a "hangout" for loyal like minded individuals.

IMO, porn surfers are looking for 100% porn pictures/videos/etc.

The majority of the surfers aren't into reading, in order to get their daily fix of porn.

Imagine the surfers who are patient enough to read and THEN get their thing on.

Most users are CLICKCLCICKCLCICKCCICK all over the damn place. Imagine getting the ones who read and think...

Moreover, QUANTITY does not necessarily mean conversions, perhaps, by adding a well written blog or text add on to your content offering you can increase QUALITY traffic as well.

What, exactly, makes a site a porn blog? What's the differance between a porn blog and your average run of the mill e/n site?

I must say I'm working on other projects and the last 9 days except today I didn't touch it. looked oldand never updated. i looked at my stats and it every days was over 500 people. nice chart . Getting more clicks from yahoo latley.

also have this blog to getting 500 agv. a day. still don't know how to make money on them. I have 3-4 more blogs coming out that i really am focused on.

I picked up teenieblog.com but I havn't found the time to put any use to it yet.. do surfers really read these things for porn? I guess it could work as a fake "pretend" your a pornstar banging all the girls and reviewing sites diary...

I think I agree on that. But when they are finished with porn then a blog can be good. Gossip and humor and links i all good. Just look at consumption junction.com and all this community site. Blogs I don't know-- it's something geeky about them. But that's just my 2 cents.
