Google shows that it has a PR 7.

However, it shows no backlinks whatsoever, what's going on?

I have seen that happen on other site before too. I never really figured out what happend, but I've had sites that had no backlinks but PR. Later, the backlinks got filled in. In other cases, I've seen sites that have pr and no backlinks at all too. This is a wild guess. I am not trying to claim I know this for sure. It may be a case of google either counting or recounting backlinks when they do not show up. Again, it's the only thing I can think of, I am not saying it's true. Though, if anyone one else knows why it happens, I'd like to find out.

Your main page doesnt have to be backinked to get a high pr.

Maybe GOOGLE doesn't use backlinks/refs solely as a criteria for listing and ranking

I've seen sites with blog backlinks (as PR spam), that are clearly shown. Does freshbot mean that the backlinks haven't fully been registered to the Google DB or something?
