whether you're involved in design, programming, webmaster'n, content, etc.. etc.. how did ya get into it and who helped you out?

i'm primarily a designer, i started learning design apps back around 98' with a friend i knew online and stayed with mainstream up until a bit over a year ago...

but i'm trying to get into owning my own sites and so far marktiarra n' soulrebel have been helpful. they're both kickass guys!

I got in the biz 4 years ago and havent looked back since. I can't say that anyone helped me really, I pretty much did it on my own.

I got into the business about 7 years ago and Fred Warner was the first person I met. I got my first deal through Fred and that kept me from getting a real job again.

I started in 2000 with a small amateur BDSM site. That didn't get me far at all, and after many false starts, i decided that I can make money doing something I like to do: writing. Raven actually gave me my first encouragement, but it was the job that Escort Biz gave me that convinced me I wasn't going to lose on this one. A little while later, Darren Beale asked me to work for him for a bit and gave me a BIG start, and now here I am, making money and enjoying the hell out of my work. :thumbsup

My aunts husband shoots girls and got me into shooting models last year, then Rich J got me the job at adult.com. Since Ive been here, I make money from BBW sites, I help webmasters promote the shit out of $10 Ca$h, I recruit and shoot sexxxy Fat chics, and I compose music for adult videos. Pretty good for a n00b?

Nick Tukhman. He hired me to work at LikeWhoa 2 years ago to hustle hosting services after working only in corporate america.

In the course of working at LWI I got exposed to the adult game and how it worked. I read a lot of boards, industry publications and attended some shows just to get more of a view on my own.

After LWI folded up last year I struck out on my own and started reading more to learn things like design, traffic, etc. There is always something new to learn out there.

As a newbie I was horrible. Although I did A LOT of research alone, everyday I had trillion questions and Wizd0m was the victim of them. He helped me the most, no doubt about it. In general I got helped from webmasters as Mcspike, Dr Ace, Manga, Alex from san diego, r-c-e, Dowland and many others.
