Mega Porn Bucks tell me how the fuck to remove your filthy spyware

Funny I was just talking about them drive by downloading a couple of weeks ago. Today, I followed this link from google and got a drive by download from them. It didn?t ask my permission it just downloaded.

Here is the link (click at your own risk)
http://www9.ilovebigtitties.com/cgi/...1242&s=44&p=13

I ran spybot and AdAware, but the most troubling part of this shit cannot be removed by those programs. Now anytime I do a search on any search engine :Google, Yahoo, MSN even some of the smaller ones. It inserts links from Findology at the top of the search results. On first glance the results look like they are from google, yahoo or whomever you happen to be using.

Provide me a remove link now or there will be consequences.

Kick Ass Chat 12-30-2003 10:30 PM

Now I wonder what Idiots are going to click the link just because of curiosity??:1orglaugh

Kingfish 12-30-2003 10:32 PM

I can?t believe there are people that would promote a sponsor that does auto downloading. It really kills your chance of getting a sign-up.

Down_Under 12-30-2003 10:51 PM

you want a program called 'hijackthis' - it is the BEST thing for removing malware from your browser - identifies everything installed and you just choose what you want to remove

Kingfish 12-30-2003 10:52 PM

I have already ran that I can?t identify the offending programs.

irishfury 12-30-2003 10:52 PM

Great Program
Though make sure you understand a little bit about registry

If this were a small webmaster and this ended up on GFY he would be put to the fucking grill.

He is in British Columbia laughing his ass off.

hershie 12-30-2003 10:57 PM

I am not getting it right now either, that doesn?t mean it wasn?t there before, and in fact if you do a search on my user name you will see that they have been doing this for at least a couple of weeks.

Somone else posted this in that thread.

Wait I take that back I just didn?t wait long enough. I now have all kinds of fun stuff: a new dialer, ilookup is now my home page, I have a snazzy new toolbar with links to the Paris Hilton Sex tapes and several new icons on my desktop including a Paris Hilton shortcut and even an icon to get me to sign-up for an epassporte

Here is the link http://www.globalplatinumcard.com/?w...olbar&sub=&t=1

And a nice desktop icon that says ?rate my body?

Thanks Jerk

The Truth Hurts 12-31-2003 12:24 AM

not saying it didn't happen to you, but I
clicked that one too... nothing happened again.

Vitasoy 12-31-2003 12:33 AM

the dreaded xxxtoolbar :(

Kingfish 12-31-2003 12:34 AM

If you really did click on it shut down IE, and then start it back up. The only thing unusual on my system is the google toolbar with the pop-up blocker on. I can get rid of everything except that damn search engine jack.

404 12-31-2003 12:37 AM

needs activescript enabled to load automatically i think.

anyway search your system for windec32.dll. it's part of the cab file that the webpage above downloads via a .js file.

404 12-31-2003 12:43 AM

BradShaw 12-31-2003 03:55 PM

You would have thought Charlo would learn from his previous run in with the FTC. Anyone who does biz with these idiots deserves what you get. Charlo is scum and he knows it.

BradShaw 01-01-2004 06:44 PM

Did you ever get it removed?

Charlo may be waking up shortly........ I hear there are a lot of complaints filed against his company and its games...... FTC does not play games with repeat offenders.

bigdog 01-01-2004 06:53 PM

sad shit is you will see more of these type of programs as it gets harder to get past mail filters. It is becoming the new spam
