Got my vonage equipment in today...

New Years Resolution #1...call sprint up and tell them to fuck off.

VoIP rocks, about time dude. we have 6 lines from Vonage unlimited calls anywhere in the US and Canada:thumbsup

until your connection goes down and you have no phone, right?

having a phone that can be 'down' way more often than the traditional phone lines keeps me from separating myself from the land lines.

Naw fuck em at all angles....I'll sign up for one of those hihg priced "independent" phone systems before I continue to do biz with Sprint.

i have heard and read that when the connection is down, so is your phone.

fuck all that.

ill keep my old phoneline in addition to a digital phone line but wont be getting rid of the hardline anytime soon.

Ever since my bad experience with them over my cell phone my home/business line experiences have only gotten worse.

These fuckers threatened to shut my phone off only 1 week after it's due date when the check was in transit.

We're not talking about 1 month after it's due date, we're not talking about being habitually late, we're talking about getting a bill and it's due by let's say the 23rd, they called me like on the 30th telling me that my phone would be shut off if I did not make payment arrangements.

I've been doing business over a year with them here in Vegas never late...*according to them they wouldn't let you be late anyway*, I had their top tier dsl line was paying over $300 a month in just basic services not including long distantce so I thought I had a decent track record with them.

Anyway I have since started to drop services with them...in one case they continue the services and still charged me for them for going on 2 extra months...had to fight over that with them...I finally got a supervisor on the line to input specific orders and give me confirmation numbers to guarantee I wouldn't be charged again.

Like I said...I'll use this along with a cell phone and if it poses any problems I'll go with one of those local phone operators for basic service....Sprint won't get anymore of my money that's for sure.

Ok, don't even get me started on their cell service lol.....
