Scummy way to promote a TGP?
 

Having a submit area but not actually listing anything? All button based recip traffic goes to trades. Scummy?

How's it any different then the guys who get 2000 submissions a day and only list a handful? I don't think it's scummy.

Sometimes it's easier to pick a few quality submitters out of the pack to be partners..But to do that, you have to weed through the shit, and see who really deserves the accounts. I've worked for a big name TGP that never took public submissions, yet always left the form open. I don't think it's a rare practice, but these autosubmitters make submitting brainless anyways.

come to think of it, it isn't scummy at all since many tgps require you to have recips. If they don't list you and you get listed somewhere else with their button, free advertising for them, no?
