Actually thats not true, there is a free server side stats script floating around somewhere, can't remember the name.

It seems like everyone who uses it loves it. I just wish there was more competition in this "remote stats" business genre, so prices could come down to $10/month or even $20/month. I think "Stats Remote" should charge by amount of sponsors someone uses, not a flat monthly fee. Something like $0.25 - $0.50/month per sponsor you use to check stats with.

Some people might use Stats remote for only 10 - 15 sponsors while others are using it for 300+ sponsors and they both have to pay the same $30.00/month.

im using it for 6 months now and its alot easyer to check stats.

If I had no money to pay my bills, I would scrounge up pennies to pay for StatsRemote. Love it :thumbsup :thumbsup

This one was called "StatsFree" I believe. If you search the board, you'll find some posts regarding StatsFree. His URL is still active -- http://statsfree.new-wave.net/flash.html

The guy that coded StatsFree was really anxious to get into the "free" stats game by making his script adware... and he did put out one or two versions. But I believe he stopped developing it due to the ever-changing sponsor formats.

Maybe someone could convince him to pick up development, or buy his work and continue development? SomeCreep is definitely right in saying that there should be some more competition in the remote stats market -- competition only brings on better programs :) Even though I'm a loyal StatsRemote user, I would consider switching if something as good came along at a cheaper price.

Damn... It's a buck a day... They could charge 50.00 a month and i'm sure alot of people would still use it. It's worth every penny and then some..

I used to, it worked well but I dont promote as many different programs as I used to so its not as valuble to me anymore

I think I will still be using it when I am no longer even needing it. I am sure they will incorporate something else I will need like the location of my car pulled off of my GPS and other such nonsense. Soon I will have up to the minute statements of my current mutual fund worth, price and change. Same for my checking and savings accounts. 401k. Is there anything this thing can't or won't be doing? Is my door ajar? hmm... let me check, nope. Stats Remote says it isn't so it isn't even if it is.

All kidding aside. It rocks. Bit pricey though... I am sure it will go down in price as more of you start using it.

im a cheap bastard and its the best $30 i spend a month. saves me at least 3-4 hours a month in stats obssessing. maybe more

I love stats remote one of the best programs I use on a daily basis altho it does like to suck memory and resources on occasion. but very seldom just the same :)

I used to use it and love it, excellent tool. Since I've switched to Linux and started coding I wrote my own that works even better. :) If cost was really an issue I'm sure you could get your own written for a flat fee from scriptlance, although it really isn't that much compared to your time savings if you use a lot of sponsors. It's only one sign up!

I love it, although I wish it was only $19.84 per month instead of $29.95... I think they would get ALOT more people using it if they went to that price model...

I wish the program would work on my computer. the damned JS fucks with my computer and I can never get a login screen to appear. I've been walked through everything with tech support, upgraded my Winblows files and even sucked on my computer's floppy drive for a few hours... Nothing has worked.

I'm sure if it would work though, it'd be my best friend! :thumbsup

i guess so. but $30 isnt that much people! come on! thats like 1 pps sign up!!!! i mean i'm not Quiet or one of these other mega money makers, but sheesh. $30 for the time it saves should be worth it for anyone who promotes more than a small handful of sites.

its really convenient to just click on the link and go into the actual stats page for the sponser too...no need to remember 20 different passwords.

im using it for 1 week now and im already addicted!

Yeah, thats what people said when Network Solutions was the only registrar around charging $35/year for domains. Now no one in their right mind pays $35/year for a domain name.

StatsRemote is a great product. However, there is no reason why they cant be $20.00/month. They are only charging $30/month right now because there is no competition.

I'm a cheap bastard too, and $30 a month is just too much for me :) that's $360 a year!

I've got time on my hands, so why spend that kind of money so that i can have even more time :)

80% from my income comes from the top 20% of my sponsors. So I only need to check 3 or 4 sponsors to get an idea what the previous day was like. Takes me 15 miutes every morning. So I don't need it, but some surely need it:thumbsup

Someone else pointed it out but the click going right to the sponsor is awesome. If you are working you can open a sponosr and grab a link with a just a click or 2.

I use it for adult and mainstream. It is the best $30 I spend a month.

We've had it almost a year. I made more money immediately upon installing it. You can see projections, conversion and compare to past months etc.

I can't believe people still don't use it.

If it takes you only 15 minutes a day to check your stats that's
7.5 hours a month you spend checking stats. I"m sure 7.5 hours of marketing could produce 30 dollars.

By far the best tool on the web.

Yep, many people think of StatsRemote 'only' as a time saver but they don't realize that you will actually make more money due to several reasons:

1. You save time and can work more on your projects.

2. You instantly see which sponsors convert and can change your marketing accordingly.

3. If you buy traffic from PPC SE you always have an eye on your expenses which can be really important. People that play the PPC SE game know what I mean :)

It's a must have!!!

It can be run on your PC or on your server and makes HTML report
