Yeah, just heard from melissa that the police showed up at her job, and gave her a ticket for public nudity for each and every shoot on her site that shows her showing any skin in public.

My lawyer, has advised me not to leak any of this to the local press, until she can find out what is going on exactly, as she has been in regular contact with the police, and had heard nothing about this.

The maximum penalty for any of the tickets is a $250 fine... which is totally petty in my mind.....

My lawyer's advise to not involve the press is based on the heat i've gotten in the past when i've been on the news....

I think that them going to a website and downloading images THAT WERE PHOTOSHOPPED TO LOOK LIKE SHE WAS IN PUBLIC... does not prove she did anything agasint the law. Unless they have eye witnesses I would tell them to eat a dick.

I think you should ignore your lawyer and make it as public as possible. You might want to start by posting about it on GFY.

I didn't post on here until after the newspaper called me... figured damage is already done, cuz they'll probably do a story with or without my input

I ASSURE you, they didnt find Melissa's site by just surfing the web.

Either someone local sent them the link or they came across it while looking through your program or however, but regardless, my guess is they found it by coming from your site.

totall agreed fletch.... but they have already had my name for awhile... and they had threatened gallery magazine (melissa is on the jan cover).... because they thought that gallery magazine did their shoot of melissa here in lincoln, and that gallery would have done it at a non-studio... which breaks lincoln city laws...

gallery magazine told lincoln police to shove it (around 2 weeks ago).... and i'm sure that this is a partial reflux from that....

I am not moving... my offices are outside city limits... and cannot be found easily... melissa would not say anything....

The big question I have for you, is would you talk to the press at all... or just hope it all dies down....

My decision is that my lawyer, and her partners are coming up with a statement for me to read via phone to the press... and then i'm going out of town til vegas....

But really, I don't think she could get in trouble for that. They are digital images, and not real photographs. And 2nd, For all they know you took them in some other country, in a fake set, or edited the images yourself.

I seriously don't see any of that happening. Our community isn't really against this whole kind of thing. I'm sure its just loved ones of the girl(s) or parents pushing for this to stop. The cops are only doing something because they were pushed to do so. They prly wack it to her site every night.

Our law enforcement is weak and not crooked at all. As long as he is following the laws i doubt he would have a major problem

I am not breaking the laws.... There are certain protections that I have used in all of her "public" shoots....

The bar ones... are shot when the bars are empty... so how is that really public... (even though it's marketed otherwise, which is what the police are focussing on)

The one shoot done in a public park was not actually done here in lincoln (also marketed differently)... hell, it wasn't even done in nebraska....

I know this won't go away like the common cold... I also know that this instance will not blow up in my face...

It's a feeble attempt by the police to go after what they think is illegal (because they are going off of what is said on the site(s))

My G/f caught me cheating on her 2 weeks ago... and rammed her jeep into my car 3 times (FUCKING up my car)... the police were called... and they really didn't want to help me much... and on top of it, they had a police dog smelling everywhere in my car (i assume for drugs)... while they were taking photos of it....

Think again. The cops or the D.A. can and will make her crack to get to her. I'm sure she will not want to go to jail and get a record over this.

the problem with getting press for negative reasons is that it will always eventually come back to haunt you... Seth Warshavsky style. its just a question of time.

If the shoots were out of the state or even out of the city/county, and you can prove it, then technically the cops haven't a leg to stand on in that the acts happened outside of their jurisdiction..

They can't arrest you for something you did someplace else..
