Saddam was a real snake. He fucked France and Russia over good and owes them billions on loans he never payed back.

I think his outstanding loans were over $100 Billion.

That's probably half the reason they took him out. Its always about the money at the end of the day.

It's insane that he's going to remain under US control. The US does nothing but feed it's people bullshit, and the rest of the world realizes that. It was always known that Saddam was the richest person in the world but no-one ever put him in the rich lists because they thought it glorified him.

Actually, no they don't. Some members of congress wanted the US to get free or discounted oil from Iraq to pay some of the war costs but the administration argued that there should be no strings attached because it wouldn't look right and won that argument.

There are people with a lot more money than him. I love it how people think that the interest on the American national dept, among other things, goes into thin air.

If you think that he had millions of slaves (the Iraqi population) for years you see that the amount is not so impressive
